I have a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University (specializing in marketing), but I
really didn't learn many practical small business solutions.
I received big business thinking and theory, that is well, good in theory, but when
you're a small business in Vancouver working with a few thousand dollars and no time to grow your business, theory doesn't go far.
I've had some small business success, but I've had more small business failure. What I've learned from my success, and probably more from my
failures, are some practical skills that I can help apply to your business.
I won't only suggest you should pursue this strategy or that business process, I'll do it for you. That's why I don't know if you would call what I do small business consulting. I'd say I'm more of a small business doer.
I'm a serial entrepreneur. I like ideas. I like to figure out the why in how things work. I'm always thinking of ways to make things better.
Better can be easier, more efficient, faster, more fun, less stressful, more creative. Anything that makes things better, whether for a person or a business, I like to work on.
A bit of of this and a bit of that. I'm not really a specialist in anything; I'm more of a generalist in many different areas, which apparently makes me a specialist in small business.
I've managed and owned three small businesses. As such, I've learned out of necessity how to do many different things.
